They say that, normally, when you get out of stasis, your mind takes a while to fully wake up and be aware of the surroundings and the general situation. But Sergeant Blake was neither a normal person nor this was his first time waking up from a long sleep in the orbit of a distant planet.

So, when the dim lights that signaled the start of the awakening routine started to blip, deep in his mind he began to leave the peaceful dream while remembering where he was and what he was supposed to do.

One of the things he liked the most when taking a new batch of future Marines on a battle simulation trip was to set the timer of his own stasis capsule around ten minutes earlier than the estimated waking time of the recruits.

Ten minutes was more than enough to wake up, get the prosthetic arm in place, take a good pee, put the hat on his head according to the regulations, and light up his half-consumed cigar.

“Oh boy, there are very few things funnier than waking up these suckers with some good old yelling…” he thought. The lights of the other pods started to blip. Sergeant Blake clenched his servo fist and smiled.

“It’s showtime!”

Note: This is a resin miniature kit that requires assembly and painting.
