FeR Miniatures January New Releases

FeR Miniatures January New Releases

Hi all!
We hope that the New Year has started good for all of you! And what better way to start than painting some new and exciting project?

It was about time to add another mounted figure to the range, so check this amazing new release for Fahrenheit Miniature Project:

Fahrenheit Miniature Project
FAH00016 – General “Stonewall” Jackson, 1863

1

Sculpture: Eduard Pérez
Painting: Fernando Ruiz
Material: Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 14 plus photoetched parts
Scale: 75 mm

And also another addition to Jonatán Monerris’ line, a fantastic Knight Templar bust!

Peter Punk Produktions
PPK00016 – Knight Templar, Holy Land, 1120

1

Sculpture: Jonatán Monerris
Painting: Marc Masclans
Material: Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 8
Scale: 1/12

We are really happy with these two and we hope you like them too! Also, we have an announcement to make.

By the end of January, we will cease distributing Nutsplanet products through FeR Miniatures.

Benny Sa and I have been discussing about this and we have realised that even if our agreement is profitable for both of us, the logistical difficulties that it brings have become more and more complicated. The shipments we send each other are significant and we legally import the merchandise, declaring its value and passing it through customs. That process delays the availability of the new releases and restock, as we sometimes have had shipments blocked at customs for as long as two months.

We haven’t found an alternative way to overcome this problem, so, keeping in mind that our priority is to avoid any delay of the products’ arrival to the customers, we have decided to return to a full distribution of the merchandise from our corresponding warehouses. We will have available the actual stock of Nutsplanet until the end of January. Beyond that, it will be removed from the web.

Have a nice week!

FeR Miniatures October New Releases… and a couple of surprises for SMC!

FeR Miniatures October New Releases… and a couple of surprises for SMC!

Hi all!
This month is being really busy, thankfully we’ll have the chance to meet up with the friends and relax a bit this upcoming weekend at Scale Model Challenge! But, first of all, lets talk about the new releases 😉

The first one is a new XVII century work by Eduard Pérez.

Fahrenheit Miniature Project
FAH00015 – “Le Cavalier”

1

Sculpture: Eduard Pérez
Painting: Jaume Ortiz
Material: Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 9 plus photoetched parts
Scale: 75 mm

A really nice kit that includes a novelty for the company, photoetched parts! This kind upgrade allows a very nice degree of detail on tiny parts like the spurs, sword lace and such, that would be almost impossible for a just resin (or metal) kit.

We also have the first two figures from the new collaboration line of Romain Van Den Bogaert!

0

Signature Series: Romain Van Den Bogaert
ROM00001 – The Old Count

1

Sculpture: Romain Van Den Bogaert
Painting: Romain Van Den Bogaert
Material:  Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 1
Scale: 1/10

Signature Series: Romain Van Den Bogaert
ROM00002 – Grok the Marauder

1

Sculpture: Romain Van Den Bogaert
Painting: Romain Van Den Bogaert
Material: Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 4
Scale: 1/10

We are really happy to finally show you these two. We will show you the painted version very soon (by Romain himself!), as he prefers to show them first unpainted to appreciate the detail of the bare sculpt.

So these are the releases for October but… wait, there’s more!

As this weekend we’ll go to SMC in The Netherlands, we wanted to do something special for our friends and customers going there. The first idea was like “OK, let’s give an overall discount just for the show” and, “Well, we also are the ones carrying the Nutsplanet sales table there, let’s extend that discount to their miniatures too”. So, the result is that you will have a 10% discount in ALL FeR Miniatures and Nutsplanet products during the weekend.

Sin-título-1

Even if we know that discounts are appreciated, we thought “Mmm… Too easy. Needs to be more interesting”. So, we’ve made an extra effort and prepared a very limited stock of two future releases, 50 of each, to be sold in advance only at this weekend at SMC!

The first one is this fantastic new bust for Women by Pepa Saavedra, nothing more and nothing less than the haunting Lady of the Lake in person!

Women, by Pepa Saavedra
WOM00004 – Viviane

1

Sculpture: Ramón Martínez
Painting: Pepa Saavedra
Material:  Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 4
Scale: 1/10

The other is possibly, the most anticipated comeback in the history of the miniature hobby. This one needs no presentation…

Elite Classics
ELI00005 – Highland Clansman Veteran

ELI00005

Sculpture: Raúl García Latorre
Painting: Marc Masclans
Material: Resin
Number of parts of the kit: 12
Scale: 70 mm

So. How does this works?
We’ll start selling these five new miniatures this weekend, at the SMC show in The Netherlands. The first 3 are the releases for October and also will be available from next Tuesday as usual (sorry, but if we want to guarantee a good customer service for them, we need to wait until our return before we start selling them). Viviane and the Clansman Veteran are a PRE-RELEASE edition, limited to 50 copies each just for the weekend. They won’t be available to the rest of the public until a future date yet to be determined, even if we return with any leftover stock. Let’s face it, we have to encourage attendance to shows, even if it means using some innocent blackmailing tactics, hehehe.

So, are you coming to SMC and you don’t want to risk missing them? We have opened a reservation list for picking up the kits there. Just send us an email to info@ferminiatures.com with your name, which figure you want (even both!) and how many you need (maybe you pick one for you and one for a friend). We will reserve you the kits so you just have to drop by and get them… of course, included in the discount offer!

IMPORTANT NOTE: All figures reserved and not yet claimed at Sunday afternoon (after lunch time) will be put on sale.

Looking forward to see you all there

While the rest of the world is on holidays…

While the rest of the world is on holidays…

Hi there!
If you are on holidays, we wish you a terrific season! If not (like us), we hope that at least you have a bit of side time to relax and do some painting, hehehe. We have some updates before next week’s releases.

First, we have finally solved some bureaucracy issue regarding the import of the Nutsplanet stock and we are almost ready to put everything on sale at our shop. It is the first time we process such a large import (the COMPLETE catalogue to be distributed both to final customers and retailers in Spain, Italy and Portugal) and we had to follow all the right administrative procedures (paying all the taxes, filling all the paperwork) being newbies on that task. Everything went fine but there has been unexpected delays and long delivery times caused by the handling and processing system of the Spanish customs. Of course, we now know how to sort this in a quicker way for the next time, but we promised you all some Nutsplanet awesomeness two weeks ago and we felt we owed you an explanation (sorry for the boring bits).

In short, everything will be available during this week and their new stuff for August will be coming very soon too.
Sin título-1

Second thing is that we have prepared a complete overhaul in the way you can browse through our catalogue on the website! Now, besides browsing the miniatures by range or collection (i. e. Fahrenheit Miniature Project, Forged Monkey, Peter Punk Produktions, etc.), you will be able to browse and rearrange the full catalogue by format (i. e. “54 mm figures”, “75 mm”, “1/12 busts”, etc.) and by theme (i. e. “Second World War”, “Fantasy”, “Middle Ages”, etc.). The classification will also apply to Nutsplanet’s products, of course.

The catalogue is growing really fast and we realised that some of you were having trouble to find that certain figure that you like but that you don’t know which collection it belongs! And if we were going to incorporate Nutsplanet to the range, it meant DOUBLING the number of items overnight, so we needed to improve the browsing system. It was supposed to happen along the incorporation of Nutsplanet but, as it was a bit delayed… Well, things happen.

The third update is… (drumrolls)… the MINIATURE’S DAY!

Fer logo MD

We have this tradition of hosting a single offers’ day every year and it was about time to make it again!

The offer works as follows:

– The offer will start at Friday, August, 19th at 10:00 AM (Spanish time, GMT +1) and will end at Saturday, August, 20th at 10:00 AM (Spanish time, GMT +1).

– During these 24 hours, all items at the FeR Miniatures online shop will be sold at 20% discount.

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: Also included in the offer will be the new releases, available shortly before the starting of the offer, and also the whole Nutsplanet range!

– Discount will be applied over prices WITHOUT VAT and then, this tax will be calculated over the final price. This only applies to European Union customers, as they are the only ones who need to pay this tax (in example: a 40 € 75 mm figure costs 33,06 € without VAT. We apply the 20% discount to that and it is 26,45 €. Over this price, European Union customers will have the VAT applied and the final price would be 32 €).

– Shipping costs are not included in the discount.

– The offer will be valid during 24 hours or end of stock.

Until the 19th, we will be reminding this offer from time to time. In order to be aware of how long until it starts, check our Facebook page.

That’s all for the moment, we will keep you updated on all this. 😉

The countdown is on!

Cheers

FeR Miniatures July New Releases

FeR Miniatures July New Releases

Hi all!

We have a few exciting new releases and also some things to talk about!

First of all, maybe you already saw our previous announcement of the partnership with Nutsplanet. We are about to incorporate the full Nutsplanet range (probably by the end of this week) and new releases (probably by the end of next week), so stay tuned for more cool stuff very soon…

Second, we have started a partnership with our Roman friends from General Store Roma for a full program of seminars with renowned miniature artists. The name of this initiative is LUDUS and it has been announced last week:

You can find a bit more information on the Facebook page we have set for it. In any case, if you have the chance to attend to one of those seminars, we highly recommend it, like this first one with Fabrizio Russo that will happen in September:

OK, after these news, it is about time to talk about the releases:

The first one is very special for us, as it is a long time idea we have always thought that would be of the liking of our painters audience, a second version of Joan of Arc, this time with a sword, for those of you who find a bit more complicated than desirable to paint a freehand flag 😉

MHB00008 – Jeanne la Pucelle, Orleans, 1429

Also, a new addition to Peter Punk Produktions, Jonatán Monerris line:

And finally, we present yet another new line. This time we will showcase the excellent works of the Swiss sculptor and painter Matthieu Rouèche:

Northern-Winds
Northern Winds will consist of figures on Celtic and Northern European subjects in 54 mm. The first one is this awesome Viking Raider:

And that’s all for the moment! Soon, we will remind you again about the availability of Nutsplanet figures 😉

Enjoy the summer!

Partnership with Nutsplanet!

Partnership with Nutsplanet!

Hi everybody!

We are still busy preparing next week new releases but we wanted to announce a bit beforehand some important and excellent news that will affect our future operation. After being preparing it for some time, we are ready to announce a new business partnership with our friends from Nutsplanet!
Sin título-1

Nutsplanet is a company that shares our same values and philosophy of collaboration, friendship and compromise with quality. As you might know, we already have lived some adventures together in the past, like a couple of collaborative painting seminars in Spain and South Korea and even a joint release, so we decided to advance a step further in our friendship.

From now onward, we will be the EXCLUSIVE distributors for retailers in Spain, Italy and Portugal, and they will have the same deal with our distribution in China, Hong-Kong and South Korea. Also, we will have each others’ full ranges available in our website for our direct sales customers (we will have Nutsplanet and they will have FeR Miniatures).

We hope that this move will be the base for even more ambitious ideas in the future, as well as a direct benefit for all our customers, both direct and retailers, that now can benefit of combining orders, saving on shipping fees and reducing delivery times.

The partnership and availability of the products is expected to start on next week, along the July new releases for both our companies.
Really excited and happy!
